Background - Zakonik was one of the many prisoners of the Pyramid of Shadows, an extradimensional location created to contain the evil wizard Karavakos. After many years in the Pyramid, the Minotaur started to believe the place was "his own Labyrinth" and has been plotting Karavakos demise for some time. He joins the party for this purpose, and stays with them thereafter.
First Death - Choked by the Poisonous Breath of Baaldran the Flayer, a Demonic Oni, just inside the inner walls of Hordethrone (in the Shadowfell). Resurrected.
Endgame - He ascended to the Heavens, becoming THE Punisher of the Gods, Supreme Exarch of Athun, and Keeper of the Divine Balance.
